Join Somerset-based artist Lisa Takahashi for this one-day workshop, where you will be introduced to the process of linocut printing.

Lisa Takahashi is a Somerset-based artist, best known for her bold geometric linocut prints of cyclists. Her work is influenced by both British Modernism and French Impressionism.

Participants will learn how to hand print linocuts using a spoon or Japanese bamboo baren, before designing a one-colour linocut image and transferring it to the block, before cutting, inking and printing.

The session is suitable for beginners, or printmakers who would like a refresher. The cost of the workshop includes all materials and tea/coffee will be provided.
