Introduction to Lymphoedema

This course offers a helpful overview of Lymphoedema—what it is, why it happens, and how to care for those affected. You'll learn about the lymphatic system, common skin issues, how to recognise when things go wrong, and how to support patients using compression, skin care, movement and healthy habits. We’ll also touch on Lipoedema, how to refer to services, and where to find further support.

This session is delivered by Karyn Turvill and Mercita Collett, Lymphoedema Nurse Specialists.

Tea and coffee is available on arrival.

You are welcome to stay for lunch in our Heart of the Hospice Cafe, service hot and cold food and snacks.
