Introduction to Macrame - in High Wycombe

A wonderful introduction to the popular craft of Macrame, which has seen quite a comeback in recent years. A simple yet versatile and enjoyable craft, with basic knot techniques at its heart that can open up a huge variety of crafting opportunities!

During the session, Laura and Liz will introduce you to a quick history of macrame, share some of their favourite projects to give you some crafting inspiration and walk you through the basic principles with step by step tutorial of a selection of macrame knots so you can have a go for yourself! They will share their experience of finding the right cord for your project and top tips for equipment and tools to help you along the way. Finally you will put your knowledge to good use as you make a macrame keyring or feather!

No experience needed. Suitable for beginners. Seasoned crafters also welcome.
