Mendeley can save you hours of time with your referencing!
Bibliographic software systems, such as Mendeley, are programmes that allow you to keep track of all you references. Mendeley is free (up to 2GB of PDFs), and you can use it both with software available for download to your computer, as well as with a web-based version.
It is available on all classroom PCs in the University and can be downloaded for free to your Mac or PC. It is particularly useful if you use a lot of PDFs as it is very good at importing and organising PDFs for you. It also has a large online community allowing you to find articles that others have saved in the same area.
Using the Word plug-in toolbar, you can automatically format the references into the style (e.g. APA, Harvard, Chicago) that your School requires when writing your essay or dissertation. It will also generate your bibliography for you!
