Event description

Description

Intended for those working with children and young people in church or school settings, this lively event will unpack what Messy Church is - and what it isn't. Topics will include how to start a Messy Church, and how to access resources and support. We will also share stories of how Messy Church has grown and developed, and explore how it can fit with the wider ministry of the church.

The morning will be led by Messy Church representative Martyn Payne. Refreshments will be served from 9.45am.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

By train – to East Croydon station

Turn right out of the main station concourse and walk approximately 100m down George Street. At the traffic lights, cross over to the other side, taking care to watch out for the trams. St Matthew’s House is on the left-hand side of the road next to the green hoarding and at the top of a flight of steps with a bronze statue of a horseman.

The entrance to St Matthew’s House is approximately 10m from the flight of steps on your left. We are directly opposite the entrance to No 96 George Street.

By car – there is metered parking in College Road; NCP Fairfield Halls or Dingwall Road.
