Mindfulness - the practice of purposefully focusing your attention on the present moment, and accepting it without judgement.
Being mindful is suggested to help focus, relieve worries and increase resilience. It is also suggested to help relieve stress, improve sleep and lower blood pressure. Some practitioners use it to treat depression and anxiety disorders.
Russell Yates will be leading a session on mindfulness for Wentworth College members on Wednesday 12 October, 12pm. The session will be no more than 45 minutes and will introduce to you some of the basic techniques and practices.
