Introduction to ‘Nature Skills’

Introduction to ‘Nature Skills’

By Field Studies Ireland

Overview

A highly practical workshop designed to develop your personal skills.

Join Field Studies Ireland for a highly practical workshop designed to develop your personal skills in fire lighting, shelter building, knot tying, cutting tools, and campfire cooking.

This is not a ‘survival course’, but rather an opportunity to build personal confidence and practical competence in the outdoors. It is ideal for teachers, forest school leaders, youth workers, parents, and those planning to progress to the ‘Teaching Nature Skills’ course, where we explore how to teach these skills to others.

Expect to be off the beaten track, with the course taking place 100% outdoors. Learning is grounded in hands-on activities, place-based education, and experiential learning.

Note: Field Studies Ireland can bring this training directly to your team or local environment. If you have a group of people interested in this training, get in touch and we can provide more information specific to your team or location. www.fieldstudies.ie
