About this event

Who is this training for?

This session is ideal for those that are new to using outcome measures in their practice, as part of the induction process for new staff joining your service, or as a refresher for those with more experience.

It is relevant to staff working in a range of settings across statutory services, voluntary and community organisations or education settings – anywhere where children and young people may be receiving support with their mental health and wellbeing.

What are its aims?

To introduce measures and develop an understanding of what they are and the roles of different measures. Participants will look at the principles and consider how they can be used.

Learning outcomes

Attendees will -

  • Develop an understanding of what outcome and feedback measures are and why they are beneficial to them, young people and the service
  • Understand key principles of using measurement tools
  • Develop an awareness of the range of measures and when they could be suitable
  • Consider the views of children and young people on the use of measures and their implications
  • Know how to access further guidance and support.

Organised by

We recognise the value of providing the right environment to learn and listen to our CORC members, partners and other stakeholders. Our annual conferences and seminars are the ideal events to expand one’s knowledge on outcome measurement and to meet new contacts in the mental health and education sector. Some of these activities are highly focused on current research findings and in some cases these seminars are lead and/or co-produced by CORC members or young people.
