About this event

  • Event lasts 1 day 8 hours

A two-day course taking place on Saturday and Sunday 7th and 8th of June 9-4:45

Permaculture Design comprises a set of tools for living on Planet Earth as if we were planning to stay around forever.

This introductory weekend covers the fundamentals of this exciting and wide-ranging approach to living ecologically wherever we find ourselves. Led by Paul Jennings Permaculture Association certified educator, organic grower, writer and practitioner with over twenty-five years experience.

You will learn about the ethical basis of Permaculture, look at the main principles of the Permaculture approach, and come away equipped to experiment with some of these techniques in your own projects.

You will be challenged to think afresh about how you meet your needs, about our shared need to build and strengthen communities, and you will be invited to start your design thinking from the very beginning of the course. You might also be asked to imagine that you are a beaver, a forest elephant or an inhabitant of a fictional village!

Bring your imagination… and something to share for a potluck lunch on each day.

Tea and Coffee and biscuits are provided, please bring along a potluck lunch to share.
