Learn how to plaster, the basic hand skills and correct use of tools with introductory plastering course

About this Event

Description

The course will include knowledge of external rendering, internal plastering and making good. At the end of the course, you will be able to identify different backgrounds and different types of plaster.

You will need to bring: You will need to wear clothes suitable for a construction environment, including overalls and safety footwear.

You may wish to bring writing materials to take your own course note on the day. Tools will be provided by the college but it would be of benefit to purchase your own plastering trowel/hawks so you can break them in and carry on using them after the course. If you would like to purchase your own trowel/hawk the tutor recommends a stainless steel Marshalltown 14inch as an all-round good choice.
