Event Information
About this Event
They will cover the technical side, including equipment and software as well as how to devise a podcast theme and structure a show. There will be a practical element where participants will learn how to record a conversation using online tools followed by a basic introduction to audio editing. The session will end with advice on how to get your show online.
You will need:
• Please access the workshops on a laptop or a desktop rather than a tablet or smart
phone.
• A laptop / desktop with a built in microphone. If you have a separate USB microphone, that's great but not essential for these sessions.
• A pair of headphones
• It would be helpful if in advance of the first workshop you could download audacity which is a piece of open source audio editing software, https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
