Event description

Description

Are you new to public engagement? Or would you like support and funding to develop your own activity? Are you a member of staff or a student in HLS? …. Then book a place now on the Introduction to Public Engagement workshop!

This workshop is open to all staff and students (at postgrad level and above) in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (at University of Liverpool), who want to learn more about public engagement, why it matters and how you can get involved – no previous experience of public engagement is needed.

During the workshop we will also work with you to develop a plan for your own activity or event, and you will have time to develop and refine this idea with your peers and with public engagement staff from the Faculty.

Following on from the workshop there will also be small public engagement grants available for you to apply for and the support of a public engagement mentor. So if you’ve come up with a great idea for an event/activity, we can provide you with the funding and support to put these plans in to action!

Lunch will be provided for all attendees.

This workshop is being run in partnership with the LDC Development Team.
