About this event
This is the last in a series of webinars looking at Copyright, Trademarks, Patents and Registered Designs in more detail.
Registered Designs are one of the lesser-known forms of intellectual property rights and can be used to protect the unique look of a product. A registered design may be just one form of intellectual property associated with your business. IP can be an important, and often undervalued, asset. Understanding and managing your IP assets is key in preventing infringement, but can also lead to income generation through licensing, sales and securing funding.
This 30min session will cover:
- What is a registered design?
- What can be protected as a registered design?
- Unregistered design rights
- How to register your design
- FAQs
- Q&A
This webinar will be held on Zoom. Once you've registered, you will receive the joining instructions the day before the event.
Following the event, the BIPC will send you a feedback form which we would be grateful if you could complete to allow us to monitor the success of our events.
