About this event

Safeguarding Children and Adults- Introduction to Safeguarding Children and Adults living in vulnerable circumstances.

Increase your awareness of safeguarding for Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise organisations.

Do you want to learn more or to refresh your awareness of safeguarding children, young people, and adults living in vulnerable circumstances?

This course raises awareness of

· What to do if you have concerns about the safety and welfare of children, and or adults living in vulnerable circumstances including those at risk of significant harm.

· The possible signs and indicators of abuse

· The recent history and background, that informs the legislative framework within which, children's welfare and adults living in vulnerable circumstances are safeguarded.

The course is designed for those delivering projects, activities, or services to children, young people, and vulnerable adults in the voluntary, community, and social enterprise sectors. For example, people who run and volunteer within community organisations.

The training is free for VCFSE groups.
