Worried about your safety? Concerned about rising violent crime? This seminar offers a practical, friendly introduction to reality-based self-defence.
You will get an overview of self-defence concepts, including how to respond to real-world threats. Topics range from situational awareness to how and when to react, plus techniques for common attacks.
No prior experience is needed. This session is suitable for complete beginners and anyone interested in building confidence and practical skills.
Topics include:
- Situational awareness
- When physical contact is legally justified and avoiding strikes
- Counter-attacks
- Prevention strategies and basic escape techniques, including defence against chokes
- Responses to knife threats/attacks
Expect a mix of movement, group discussion, and a hands-on experience that’s both useful and delivered in a welcoming environment.
