About this event

Words Words Words!

For hundreds of years, Shakespeare has been a huge cultural icon, and for good reason; from the comedies to the tragedies, William Shakespeare’s writing has inspired generations.

But sometimes this history can be intimidating and it’s easy to get caught up in the feeling that there is a “right” way to perform this text. But Shakespeare is for everyone, so join Grace in a series of practical sessions where you’ll get the chance to explore a variety of scenes, duologues and monologues. Throughout, you’ll find the different ways that these classic plays can be interpreted and enjoyed.

These sessions are perfect for students looking for a fun way to revise for exams, actors who want practice performing classic texts in preparation for drama school auditions, or just any literature fan who just wants an excuse to dig into the Bard’s work!

Whether you’re an expert or completely new to these plays, come along and discover a way of learning Shakespeare that works for you.

To book or not to book, that’s the question!

Grace is an actor and practitioner trained at Plymouth Conservatoire, where her dissertation on Shakespeare won the award for “Outstanding Research Project”.
