"Introduction to Shamanism" workshop- 2 days to serve you as a gateway and initiation into the shamanic world

23 - 24 of August 2025, Edinburgh

From 10am to 5pm each day

Over the course of two days we will cover many topics that will be your gateway to shamanic wisdom:

- The shamanic view of illnesses and how we can reclaim our power;

- Connecting with your power animal and your spirit guides to access direct guidance and support

- The shamanic journeying to access the worlds beyond the veil; lower, middle and upper worlds;

- History of shamanism and healing ways

- Meeting and working with your power animal and spirit guides

- Initiation to the shamanic path...and much more!

About the teacher:

Ankh has been training and practising on the spiritual path since 2014.

She’s a Shamanic teacher trained by world-renowned teacher Sandra Ingerman;

She is a certified Reiki Master, Shamanic practitioner, Quantum medicine and Sweatlodge facilitator, a Ceremony and Integration leader.

She has studied with indigenous and European teachers alike.

Her key values are integrity, authenticity, and heart.

  • Rattles and shakers

What is provided on the day?

Eye masks / mindfolds, rattles, refreshments.

Is there access for people with mobility issues?

There isn't an entrance suitable for this at the moment.

Do I need to bring something?

You can bring your own drum and rattle, a water bottle, a notebook and a pen. Lunch is potluck; you should bring something for yourself and to share. You can bring your own mat and cushion if you feel more comfortable.

Is the workshop suitable for everyone?

The introduction is usually suitable for most individual, for any concern and more details please get in touch and complete the application form.

The location is easily reachable by Lothian bus routes no. 34, 19, 49,12, 21, 25 and midland bluebird no. 13 + a short walk
