Join us for a powerful two-day workshop exploring the ancient spiritual path of shamanism. Through drumming, journeying and nature-based practices, you'll begin to connect with the unseen worlds, meet your spirit allies and discover shamanism as a pathway to healing, insight and reconnection.
What to Expect
This experiential weekend introduces the core principles of cross-cultural shamanism, including:
- The history and heart of shamanism and drumming across cultures
- Guided shamanic journeys to meet your personal spirit helpers and teachers
- Shamanic divination using stones and symbols
- Retrieval of spiritual gifts and guidance
- Introduction to shamanic healing practices
- A community healing circle
- A journey to honour the spirit of the land
Whether you're completely new to this work or feeling a call to reconnect with ancient ways, this is a safe and supported space to explore your intuitive gifts and deepen your relationship with nature, spirit and self.

Please note: This is a full weekend immersion, and participants are asked to attend both days in full to honour the flow of the teachings and the shared group journey.

The weekend is a full immersion, with a flowing mix of guided shamanic journeys, nature-based practices, group ceremonies and quiet reflection. We begin each day with grounding practices and end in shared circle.
No. Everyone is warmly welcome just as you are.
Yes, absolutely. Sharing is always optional and held in a supportive and confidential circle. There will also be time for questions, rest and integration.
No, you don't need any specific beliefs or practices to join. We welcome people from all walks of life and spiritual backgrounds. Come with an open heart and mind.
Please bring a journal and pen for personal reflections, a water bottle, and an open heart. The Haven has meditation mats, meditation cushions, bolsters, blankets, eye pads, yoga mats and chairs. If you prefer to bring any of your own items, you are welcome to do so.

To keep costs down, lunch is not provided. You're welcome to bring your own or pick something up nearby (there's several local options). Tea, coffee (including decaf), herbal teas and snacks will be available throughout the weekend.
The workshop is led by Andrea, a Certified Shamanic Practitioner, Teacher and Usui Reiki Master based in Aberdeenshire. Andrea first began practising shamanism in 1998 and holds certificates in Shamanic Practitioner Training, Earth-Based/Nature Intelligence practices and Healing Circles.
