During this workshop you will learn all the basic techniques for creating your very own Silver Art Clay jewellery; from moulding, to firing & finishing. You will use the different types of clay including solid clay, paste & syringe while creating a leaf pendant, a ring and a textured pendant or charms.
The workshop cost includes approximately 5g of paste, 12-15g of clay and 1-2g of syringe paste and firing. You will complete and take away all the items made in the workshop with you on the day.
Difficulty Level: 1 - This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those looking to develop their jewellery making skills or try something new.
Techniques and skills: You will learn the basics osf working with Silver Art Clay to create beautiful items of jewellery.
Materials used:Silver Art Clay and paste.
Additional items needed: Just yourself. If there are any textures you'd like to imprint into the clay feel free to bring items along.
Tutor:This workshop is taught by Steph Gibbs, a certified Level 1 silver art clay instructor.
This workshop is 7 hours long - we do break for 1 hour lunch break. Lunch is not provided, but do feel free to bring along a packed lunch or take advantage of the many cafes and shops close by.
Workshops include all materials and refreshments are provided. This workshop has a maximum of 6 people per workshop to ensure everyone is given enough space and a more enjoyable experie.
