Introduction to Social Impact Bonds
Tue 12 July 2016, 09:00 – 13:00 BST
An introduction of the concept and opportunities presented by Social Impact Bonds (SIB) and how this can improve and contribute to the voluntary and community sector.
The event will touch upon how Social Impact Bonds can present a real opportunity to creatively fund services; how investors pay for services, and are repaid only once the outcomes are realised. You will be given the opportunity to learn about what Northamptonshire County Council are trying to achieve and enable you to consider how this principle could be applied and transferred to the sector and your organisation’s activity.
