Introduction to Solid Foods (Royston)

This FREE FACE to FACE session is designed for parents with a child aged 4-6 months old, in preparation for the introduction of solid food at 6 months old. This session has been created by Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust and presented by the Hertfordshire Family Centre Service. What are the signs that your baby is ready for solid food? Find out about how and when to introduce them to your baby. The sessions will be FACE TO FACE and is about 1 HOUR long.

Families accessing FREE Family Centre Service sessions must be registered with us and live in Hertfordshire. If you are not already registered please follow the link below to register. before booking. You will not receive the link for Zoom until you are registered.

Need to cancel a booking for a free event? We appreciate you taking the time cancel your booking if you can't attend as this will give others the chance to book the place instead. Please go to your confirmation email and follow the link to log in to Eventbrite. Go to the Tickets page, and locate your order. Click on the event order to view order details, and then select "Cancel Order" to cancel your booking. We’ll send you an email confirming the cancellation.

Need to cancel a booking for an event you have paid for? We understand that life is not always predictable when you have young children. Our cancellation policy allows you to receive a full refund for most of our events up to 24 hours before a single event, or the first in a course of events, begins. To request a refund, please go to your confirmation email and follow the link to log in to your account. Go to Tickets in your Eventbrite account, find your order, then select "Request a Refund." We will try to approve your refund within a day or two and when issued, refunds can take up to 5 business days to show on your account.

Want to change your booking to a different session? Please cancel your original booking according to the instructions above. Then make your new booking in the usual way on Eventbrite.

We have important measures in place to protect you and our staff from Covid-19. Please read these measures carefully before booking a place.

• A ticket allows for one adult to attend the event.
• We encourage adult attendees to take a rapid lateral flow test prior to attending, to prevent the risk of spreading Covid-19.
• Following NHS guidance, to help stop the spread of the Covid-19, please wear a face covering over your nose and mouth when attending sessions.
• You will be asked to use the hand sanitiser upon entering the session.
• Please ensure that you and your child are well on the day of the event, please do not attend if either of you are unwell or signs of Covid-19.
• Do not attend the event if anyone in you are self- isolating period in between booking and the day of the event.
