About the talk
Step Into Space: Learn about developments at Spaceport Cornwall as they build up towards launch in 2022. This will be the first time any rocket or satellite has been launched from UK.
About our speaker - Dave Pollard
Dave is the Education and Outreach manager at Spaceport Cornwall. Spaceport Cornwall are trying to reach every single student in Cornwall through a range of activities, including online broadcasts, in person exhibitions, curriculum linked educational booklets and challenges. They have reached at least 10,000 students over the last year and have plans to reach even more as they build up to launch.

Our talks are entirely free to attend. Should you wish to donate any amount, the proceeds will be split by 25% to Cornwall Science Community towards the running of these and similar events, and 75% to a designated charity.
