Description

Day 1 – Morning

Safer Working Practices

The ‘Safer Working Practices’ course builds upon the Simply Education online Safeguarding tutorial, covering a range of key ways to keep yourself safe whilst working in the classroom. The Safeguarding tutorial is a mandatory expectation for all staff working in an unsupervised capacity with children or young people for Simply Education and will give a basic understanding of roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children and young people as well as an understanding of some of the indicators of potential abuse that they need to be aware of and act on.

Please inform Simply Education if you require any adjustments to attend our training or if you have any allergies we need to be aware of.

Day 1 – Afternoon:

Behaviour Management Workshop

The most common bad behaviour / low level disruption experienced by all teachers consists of calling out, chatting at inappropriate times, arriving late, asking distracting questions, tapping, rocking, anything involving make-up or telecommunications equipment or indeed any other behaviour that impedes learning.

It sounds insignificant, but is something many teachers struggle with every day. Would you like the opportunity to learn and discuss new techniques? If so why not attend one of our Behavioural Management proactive workshop sessions, exploring the necessary skills needed to manage the behaviour for learning in classrooms. The skills covered will help to reduce your stress and make your classroom a much better place to work for you and your pupils.

Please inform Simply Education if you require any adjustments to attend our training or if you have any allergies we need to be aware of.
