Participants will explore the three pillars of sustainability - environmental, social, and
economic - and the essential role the environment plays in supporting a healthy society and economy. Key topics include the importance of planning for a sustainable future, and the principles of net zero. The course equips participants with foundational knowledge on concepts such as carbon footprints and it also focuses on practical approaches to embedding sustainability into organisational policies, practices, and culture.

- Understand where we are currently, and where we need to be, and how we can get there.
- Examine how you can reduce your impact, including the challenges and opportunities
- Develop an action plan to reduce your carbon footprint and improve organisational sustainability.
Who should attend?
This course is open to all, and provides an introduction to understanding of the importance of sustainability and climate change and actions we can do to achieve net zero.
