The Faculty of Public Health has accredited this training course for 3 + 3 CPD credits - 3 CPD credits for self-study and 3 CPD credits for online workshop.

This course is part of our CSH Sustainability School. It offers an overview of the relationship between the health sector and the crises in planetary health, particularly related to climate change. How does the health sector contribute to climate change? Where is it most vulnerable to climate impacts? How can clinical practices become sustainable? Using case studies from the NHS, this course provides a foundation for more specialized issues in the advanced courses. It is made up of a 4-hour interactive self-study online module and a 4-hour workshop conducted remotely over a video conferencing platform. To view the course overview please click here.
