About this Event
A live webinar, Introduction to TATE - Trauma Awareness Training for Everyone
Could you recognise the symptoms of trauma - in colleagues, family or yourself?
Would you know what to do next? How to discuss the issue and refer someone to get help?
If your answer is ‘No’, then this free, one-hour introduction to TATE is for you.
Trauma and PTSD is a major issue in this time of COVID-19 and the lockdown.
Nurses and doctors and other frontline medical staff, security guards, armed forces’ veterans, public transport and other key workers can all be affected by trauma and PTSD resulting from Coronavirus, directly or otherwise. If you are one in one these categories of workers and have been affected – or a manager, colleague or family member of one – then join us for an interesting and valuable session.
This is an introduction.to the TATE Programme. The TATE course trainer is a leading therapist, Rosalind Townsend, author of the book ‘PTSD Understanding and Recovery’.
The webinar is organised by the charity PTSD Resolution, which provides mental health treatment to Armed Forces’ veterans, Reservists and their families. Therapy is free, effective and delivered by a network of 200 therapists - and now online and by phone during the lockdown.
The event is free. If you want to make voluntary contribution to the work of the charity, please donate here. Even £1 will help us help a traumatised veteran.
Please be aware that due to restricted numbers we can only allow a maxium of 5 people from the same business to attend.
