Participants explore “helpful” and “unhelpful” teaching characteristics and how these may be affected by the current climate in higher education.
The workshop identifies physical, socio-psychological and cultural factors that may influence the engagement of students in their learning.
Participants gain a brief overview of adult learning theory and have the opportunity to apply this by generating a teaching method and assessment for a learning case study.
This workshop is duplicated across various dates from September 2016 - March 2017.
