Introduction to the Archives & Library for UG and PG Taught Students
Overview
PMC’s Archives & Library hold extensive collections on the history of British art and architecture of all periods. The Centre’s Public Study Room provides access to these materials for a wide range of audiences. The collection is free to use and open to all. This group visit is open to undergraduates and taught postgraduate students from any discipline who are interested in British art and are new to the collections and would like to learn more about what the Archives & Library has to offer.

Introduction to Archives & Library
This will include an introduction to the history of PMC and an overview of the Archives, Library and Photographic Archive collections. Attendees will be shown how to access the collections and have opportunities to discuss their potential use for coursework and independent research projects, such as dissertations. There will also be a chance to register as a Reader. In addition, students will get to meet our Archives & Library Graduate Trainees and find out about the work they do at the Centre.
Tea, coffee and biscuits
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served and there will be a chance to network with other students and talk further with PMC’s staff.
