Introduction to trade union history (Classroom)
Overview
About the course:
The trade union movement has a long and proud history of making improvements for the the working class. This course is about exploring the challenges and achievements that they have made from the Tolpuddle matyrs to the Grunwick dispute. Those challenges have not disappeared and its an opportunity to reflect on how our present day. Ideally you would need to be a union represetnative or an active member from a TUC affiliated trade union.
Structre of the course:
- The course is dilevered online using live lessons.
- It is a whole day event from 9.30-16.30.
- Half term is 27th May (no class on that day).

Also, please be aware that only UK based residents, whom have confirmed that they are a union representative from an affiliated Trades Union Congress (TUC) trade union can apply to attend these courses.
