Introduction to Transactional Analysis Counselling, Part One: Ego States

Welcome to this online workshop, the first in a three part series exploring some of the core concepts and ideas of Transactional Analysis (TA) counselling. Whether you're a mental health professional or just curious about psychology, TA has some really insightful and easy to understand models for better understanding ourselves and our relationships with others.

I'll be introducing one of the core models used in TA to understand how our personalities are structured and how they function, namely the model of ego states. The material presented is intended to be accessible for a complete beginner, so you don't need any prior knowledge of counselling or psychology.

The workshop will last two hours with a short break in the middle, and will contain a mixture of taught material from slides (a combination of visual graphics and text) and group discussion and questions.

It will be hosted on Zoom and people are invited to attend in whatever way feels comfortable for them. There will be room for participation but also the option to sit back and absorb the content for those who prefer to learn that way.

Any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
