Course Content/Objectives

A session designed to provide an introduction to the UNCRC and children’s rights with particular reference to a school context and professional standards. Attendees will be able to explore how they currently teach using a rights based approach and will be challenged to embed it meaningfully at a classroom and whole school level. Information will also be shared about the Rights Respecting Schools Award and how to begin the RRSA journey.
