Description

- THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED -

USAID funding has a reputation for its complex rules and regulations but since 2015 all US Federal funding has been aligned under the same rules, meaning very similar requirements are now in place for grants from the US Department of State.

During this session, we will take you through the basic systems and rules for both US Department of State and USAID funding which you will need to be familiar with to be able to manage your awards successfully. We will also cover frequent problems encountered by grant recipients and give you key tips on how to prepare for an audit to avoid common audit findings and disallowed costs.

We are auditors and advisers to charities and social purpose organisations.

Our objective is to play a positive role in developing and maintaining a strong and resilient charity and social purpose sector. The sector is wide and varied. It includes health & social care charities, international aid organisations, think tanks, membership bodies, theatres, museums and more besides. The one aspect that unites them is that they all play a role delivering social impact. Supporting them to do that is what motivates each and every member of the SV team.

We deliver this objective through our services, as well as through the time and resources we invest back into the sector .
