Introduction to Vertical Gardening: Living Walls
About this event
Want to bring more green into your life, but don't have a garden or balcony?
Nina Simoes, vertical garden consultant and designer, is on a mission to encourage people to grow whatever they want in any small space they have.
In this introduction to vertical gardening you will learn what’s possible in even the smallest of urban spaces. You’ll learn about the different systems available on the market, the principles of creating and caring for a basic living wall system and which plants are best for beginners to try, both ornamental and edible.
Participants will also be able to practice planting a section of a living wall which contains a unique self watering system.
No previous experience is required.
