It is also hoped this session will enhance managerial skills and allow participants to reflect on their current practice.

The session will ensure that participants will:

• Become familiar with the Scottish Government definition of volunteering

• Learn about facts on Formal and Informal Volunteering

• Find out the economic value of volunteering

• Learn what do volunteers contribute to organisations

• Find out about a good practice

• Use Selection Policy Checklist and learn about potential implications

• Understand the need of Devising a Recruitment Strategy

• Learn about vital procedures in recruitment process
