Join us at the Bomb Factory Art Foundation’s Marylebone Gallery for two identical weaving workshops on consecutive days: one on Tuesday 28th May and one on Wednesday 29th May, both from 4–6pm.

Run by artist Ruth Kent, these 2-hour immersive weaving workshop led in conjunction with our current exhibition Who Runs The World.

This workshop invites participants to slow down, connect with the handmade, and rediscover the joy of tactile creation. You’ll explore frame loom weaving as a meditative, sensory practice rooted in rhythm, colour, and play. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned maker, this session encourages personal expression through texture and material.

We’ll provide a range of vibrant yarns and weaving materials. If you’d like to bring your own threads, ribbons, or found fabrics to incorporate into your piece, you’re very welcome.
This workshop is part of our wider programme of analogue making events running alongside Who Runs The World - a bold new exhibition questioning authorship, artistic labour, and the place of human-made craft in the age of artificial intelligence.

You can sign up for either day, but to keep the sessions engaging for everyone, places are limited – please only register for one date. Photographs will be taken during the workshops for social media and promotional use. If you’d like more information or prefer not to be photographed, just let us know on the day.

Open to anyone aged 18 and over. No previous experience needed.
