Introduction to Wildflowers with Matt Jackson
By Juliette Butler - Wildlife Trust BCN
Overview
Learn how to identify wildflowers
Wildflowers are the most conspicuous species in the countryside, they make up the habitats in which other wildlife thrives, and are among the very best ‘indicators’ of habitat quality. Most wildlife surveys start with the flowering plants. This workshop aims to enable participants to use identification keys accurately, so they can name an unknown plant more reliably than simply by comparing with pictures in a field guide.
