This workshop will help you write effective funding applications for grants and give your application a greater chance of success. It is the third of three sessions aimed at giving you an insight into how applications should be put together. As part of the session you will be part of a funding panel and assess a number of ‘mock’ applications.
Who is this course suitable for?
This workshop is suitable for those relatively new to writing funding applications and those who perhaps need a refresher. It is suitable for trustees, volunteers and staff alike.
What does the course cover?
This course will help you:
Understand what funders are looking for in a grant application
Understand how funding applications are evaluated
Avoid common problems with applications
It is expected that those who attend this session have attended workshop (1) and (2). Check with the administrator if you have any questions
Participants will require a reasonable understanding of English
To access this course free of charge you will need to be currently working for a voluntary or community organisation based in Leicester or Leicestershire. Organisations who do not meet these requirements will be asked to pay
