Sandwell Youth Service aims to provide participants with basic information, skills and knowledge that everyone working with young people should know including:
- What is Youth Work
- The role of a Youth Worker
- Building relationships with young people
- Planning activities
- Health & Safety
- Child Protection
The course delivered by professional, experienced youth work staff, will help build your knowledge and practical skills in working with young people.
This course will be delivered 1 evening per week, over 3 weeks.
Attendance is required at all sessions.
Course dates are as follows:
- Week 1 - Tuesday 13 January 2026, 18:00 - 20:30
- Week 2 - Tuesday 20 January 2026, 18:00 - 20:30
- Week 3 - Tuesday 27 January 2026, 18:00 - 20:30
