Overview

An interactive course all about youth work and how youth workers help young people in their community.

Please note: we are awaiting confirmation on the venue for this training but it will be in the North of Dorset.

A training course recommended for anyone who is new to the role of youth worker in a paid or voluntary capacity or for anyone who would like to understand what youth work is all about.

The training will cover –

- What is youth work

- An exploration of how youth work is underpinned by the 4 cornerstones of youth work (Education, Empowerment, Participation and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion)

This course is a prerequisite for anyone who would like to undertake the Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice.

Refreshments will be provided but attendees will need to bring their own lunch.
