Invasive Non-Native Species and Biocontrol Training Workshop
Event Information
About this Event
As part of a South East RAPID LIFE Invasive Species project, join Medway Valley Countryside Partnership to learn about local invasive species.
Whilst invasive animals will be included in the introduction to the topic, plants will be the main emphasis of this workshop and attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local problem plants, the issues they cause and the pro's and cons of the various management options.
The workshop will introduce attendees to the topic of biocontrol and highlight the current and emerging biocontrol options being introduced and investigated by CABI.
This free workshop is a must for anyone studying a conservation and/or land management discipline or anyone who volunteers, works or spends time in the countryside and/or our local waterways.
Via Rapid Life funding, this workshop is free to attend and will include refreshments and a light lunch. Booking is essential.
