Wednesday, 23 March 2016 from 10:30 to 11:30 (GMT)
Scottish Swimming in partnership with Scottish Water are delighted to announce the Inverness event in the 2016 Adult Swim Series. As this is the launch of the Swim Social programme in the north we are offering this event at no cost.
Are you an adult swimmer and want to enhance your swimming? Are you looking to improve your technique to take part in a triathlon or open water swimming event, or to just come along to get fit and meet new people? Then look no further; the Swim Social - Skills & Drills and Powerswim Sessions are what you're looking for!
Skills and Drills is a coached session for adult swimmers. You must be 16 years or older and able to swim at least 200 metres. In the 1 hour session you will focus on your technique and perhaps work on one of your weaker strokes. The sessions are ideal if you would like to improve your front crawl breathing or learn how to get more out of your swimming.
Powerswim is also a coached session and is a more advanced workout for those wishing to improve their fitness, stamina and swimming technique. This session is for 1 hour and swimmers must be aged 16 years and over and be capable of swimming 400 metres.
Everyone is welcome - those just getting back into swimming or those who are more advanced swimmers. Please check out the ticket options to find out more.
