Becoming investment ready and raising growth capital for your business is an intensive process. For any high-growth startups looking to raise early stage-investment - this workshop zeros in on some of the foundations for raising funds from investors helping you avoid many of the pitfalls startups often make.
At MSDUK, our partnership with the Enterprise Europe Network at UCL is aligned with a focus around “unlocking innovation through diversity” providing investor-led input and guidance to support young founders, especially from underrepresented minority-led businesses where equity investment is most lacking.

We outline the essential checklist & criteria that every entrepreneur needs to have in place to significantly improve the opportunity to gain equity-based funds. You will learn about:
- The Investment Raising Process
- The criteria investors typically use to evaluate deals
- How to attract and engage with investors and what metrics to demonstrate
- Case studies from entrepreneurs who successfully secured investment
- Common pitfalls and how to avoid them

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This event is tailored towards high growth SMEs, ideally tech focus. We welcome founders from all diverse minority-led startups e.g. ethnic-minority owned businesses (BAME), actively looking for seed or series A funding.
