Description

A Frank & Philosophical Conversation about Synthetic Biology | How far should we go to better ourselves?

This event will be led by Kilter Theatre company and BrisSynBio, the University of Bristol's synthetic biology research centre. It will include theatre makers, actors, leading scientists, futurologists, ethicists & artists.

We will be considering what the role of synthetic biology is in the future. Everybody has a stake in its development & this is a chance for you to claim that stake. Turn up, talk to a researcher & shape the way this dramatic game-changer is used to inform & influence society in the future.

We will also be attempting to answer the many moral dilemmas that our audiences have left us in feedback after performances of Invincible.

The event will include a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes & visit the labs where synthetic biology is developed.
