Invitation to Guest Lecture from Martin Slark - CEO of Molex
The University of East London is honoured to welcome Martin Slark, CEO of Molex, who will give a guest lecture on Thursday 8 December.
Martin completed his undergraduate studies in electronic engineering from Bracknell College, east London. He earned a post graduate diploma in management studies from Portsmouth University, and an MBA from UEL. In 2004, Martin received an honorary doctorate in business administration from UEL.
Marin joined Molex in 1976 as a sales office supervisor. He held a number of senior roles in the company around the world, before taking up the role of CEO.
His focus on growth has resulted in strategic acquisitions by Molex during his tenure as vice chairman and CEO, expanding the company’s global presence in the medical, industrial and telecommunications markets.
His belief in the importance of innovation and global collaboration led to the launch of the company’s Innovation Challenge initiative in 2012, which is helping Molex generate new ideas to drive growth beyond its core business.
This is a talk not to be missed, so come and hear from an industry leader with global experience.
