Description

This workshop is for ACoRP members who want to explore how their group/organisation can effectively involve and support volunteers. We'll share examples and look at how best practice from across the voluntary and community sector can be applied to community rail. This is for anyone from an ACoRP member organisation who recruits, co-ordinates, supports or manages volunteers in both small and large groups.

The session will explore and discuss:

- Using different recruitment methods to attract volunteers

- Creating meaningful, enjoyable and attractive volunteering experiences

- Supporting and managing volunteers at an appropriate level for your group/organisation

Arrive from 10.30am for refreshments. The session will start promptly at 10.45am and will finish at 15.15pm. A light lunch and drinks will be provided.
