Young people are a great resource for your organisation, bringing energy and new ideas.

Spark Somerset is supporting Somerset County Council Duke of Edinburgh scheme to find interesting volunteering opportunities for young people that really benefit their community. Come long to this workshop to see how you can benefit from having young volunteers in your organisation!

This session will cover what you need to do to be able to welcome Duke of Edinburgh students into your organisation. We will look at what paperwork you will need, types of role which could attract a young person, supervision of the student and parental consent.

It will be an interactive session for all organisations interested in recruiting students and a chance to address any concerns you may have.
