December IoF Thursday will be a Q&A panel discussion on supporter acquisition and retention.

Panel confirmed so far:

Mark Burnett

Mark Burnett is an NCVO associate consultant and a fully trained and Certified Data Protection Officer. He is an experienced fundraiser and marketer and can offer a unique insight into how GDPR will impact on the voluntary sector. He is Head of Privacy and Data Protection Services at ClearComm, a Kingston Smith company. Mark is also a Committee member, Treasurer and recognised Trainer for the IoF South East and London regions.

Melissa Bennett

Melissa Bennett started her career in fundraising working for a small children’s charity as a sole fundraiser, getting a great grounding in all the various elements of fundraising. She then moved on to specialise in corporate fundraising and from there moved across to work for creative agencies creating direct marketing campaigns for a number of different charity clients as well as a large telecoms company before moving back to the sector to join the retention team at UNICEF UK. She has been with Plan International UK for just over a year now in the role of Retention Manager.

Please arrive by 6pm at the latest to take full advantage of 20 Minute Masterclass.

Where possible, we book reserve speakers for each IoF Thursday. These speakers will be able to give the 20 Minute Masterclass on a similar topic if our speaker is no longer able to attend. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the speaker at an IoF Thursday event is unable to attend, we will notify you, and give you the details of the reserve speaker.  We will email you via the address provided on the booking form as soon as possible.  All those who have booked for the particular IoF Thursday will be able to cancel their place up to 2pm on the day of the event.  If we are unable to confirm an alternative speaker for an IoF Thursday event, we will still go ahead and will facilitate a group discussion in place of the 20 Minute Masterclass followed by a networking session.
