Event description

Description

Find out how Orbis UK - a global charity that brings people together to fight avoidable blindness – and agency, Audience Fundraising & Communications, together created ‘Operation Sight’, a multi-channel fundraising and communication campaign spanning 2 years. Hear how they gathered audience insight through in-depth qualitative research, how the team at Orbis became integral to the process and the development of pen portraits shifted the strategy. Learn how this insight led to an organisational wide proposition resulting in a significant increase in income and engagement.

One year on into the campaign, Wayne Murray and Breige McGinn from Audience, will share the outcome of the research and lessons learned. The presentation will take you through all key aspects of the research and how this led to the creation of Operation Sight. Find out what went well and obstacles faced in an approach that led to Orbis and Audience winning the Institute of Fundraising UK – Most Powerful Insight Through Research Award.

There will be a sandwich lunch provided.
