A Community Fundraising Health Check
About: Come along to take the temperature of community fundraising…
Community fundraising’s renaissance continues and indeed has intensified over the last twelve months, as the compliance issues affecting fundraising have heightened awareness about the benefits of relationship fundraising. Consequently, many organisations are now seeking to significantly invest in community fundraising, but how best to do this and what results can you expect?
This session will explore key benchmarking data to reveal critical insights and trends in community fundraising, and a surgery style discussion session will ensure you get in depth advice about maximising your own community fundraising opportunity, as well as practical tools to take away.
Speaker: Beccy Murrell is a successful community fundraising specialist with an excellent record of achievement throughout a twenty year career at Cancer Research UK and THINK Consulting Solutions. She is experienced in all aspects of community fundraising including strategy development and implementation, change management, leadership, communication and financial management. A keen advocate of community fundraising and volunteering, Beccy strongly believes in the power of this discipline to have a positive impact on people’s lives and of the pivotal role it can play in an organisation’s fundraising mix.
