Event description

Description

Diversity Matters: Manager Training is open to all staff (Academic and Professional Services) who have managerial or supervisory roles.

This interactive workshop will be delivered by Challenge Consultancy. It will outline the legal requirements of the Equality Act 2010 in the context of your work at King’s. It will cover the benefits of inclusive working, with practical advice on how to tackle unconscious bias, micro-aggressions, and inappropriate language. It will provide you with guidance around how to create a diverse and inclusive team, and how to address specific D&I issues you may face as a manager at King’s.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email ioppn.inclusion@kcl.ac.uk

P.S. Please note that you have to be King's staff to enter the training room. King's I.D. will be required to gain access.

Please let us know if you have any access or participatory requirements. You can view the AccessAble guide to the Hodgkin building here.

We hope to see you there,

IoPPN Inclusion Team
